Picture of The Day: My Teeth!

Click on my pic to see my teeth!

My 6 Month Stats

Just went in for my 6 month checkup today. The day started out bad. I fussed and cried and gave my mom a hard time all the way up to the appointment time at 1:50pm. Then I decided to smile. I was laughing and playing around - had no clue shots were in store for me. Those wicked people pricked me twice and gave me and and oral dose of some nasty stuff. They tried to tell me it was sweet. Pfft. I spit as much out as I could. The doctor told me I was one of her best patients and that I was growing perfectly. And get this... I got a sticker this time!!! And while that statement may seem one of excitement - and to some degree it is, since I have been gypped out of one each and every time - I really am not that excited because the sticker was a lame one. Something about turning off the tv. I wasn't interested and so I didn't even pay attention to it when the nurse gave it to me....then again, I was a little too busy staring at her funny glasses. Oh, and I started eating oats today too. Pretty good stuff. I think I like it better than the rice cereal. This picture is of me when we got home...it was an exhausting day.

Today's Picture: Who's The Boss?

Here's a picture of my Mommy and I.
This just goes to show who runs the house hold..and how good life is being me.

My First Tooth

Here's a photo of my very first tooth. Unfortunately you can't see it too well in this photo...its too small. However, I will put it out there....I bite.
You have been warned.
So, feel free to doubt that its there.

Was just advised by Zach's mom that if you click on my picture...you can view it larger. Duh, why didn't I think of that?

In The News: Strike Has Ended

I have officially ended my protest against bottles and sippy cups. After conferencing with myself two mornings ago, I and I have agreed to go back on the bottle and sippy. Mommy is pleased and this pleases me. I have since not been able to put down the bottle and am eating like a vulture (some would call this a possible growth spurt). Yesterday I devoured my dinner of cereal and applesauce. For lunch, I was given some sweet potato - a new one on my menu. Not bad...not bad at all. And i've been drinking the heck out of some formula. I have shocked and amazed those around me with two days of being happy and giddy for absolutely no reason. Doest here have to be one? No. But they can't seem to figure out whats going on with me (as usual). Mommy isn't complaining though.

In other news, no indication of the 2nd tooth popping yet. Its still sitting beneath the surface, just waiting to make its grand appearance. Gnawing on the sippy cup makes my gums feel better too.

6 Months a Tooth & Peas

Tomorrow is Friday the 13th and I will be 6 months old. I've managed to do quite a bit since my arrival. Just to name a few of the things: I've held a hunger strike, was involved in an anti-sleep protest, been stabbed with needles (I'm due again in a few weeks), held screaming competitions (I've won all of them), mastered the art of getting my way, sprouted a tooth, eaten cereal, peas and have successfully trained everyone involved in pampering me to do my biding. By the time I'm a year old, I expect that my resume will be loaded with impressive things - I am definitely well on my way to becoming master of the universe I believe.

My very first tooth has surfaced. About time. Last night I tested it out by biting my Mommy. Success! She was whining about it today. I plan on using it frequently and can't wait for it to come out a little further and for a 2nd one. People beware! You have been warned. I plan on fully evolving into my vampire status by my first birthday. I have also been given green mush to eat - aka sweet peas. I think my Mom thought the word "sweet" on the label would make it a tasty treat for me versus regular peas. I asked her to try it out first. Nothing sweet about it. I ate it anyways, sneezed and got it all over her. I'm eating cereal twice a day now as well. Its ok - lacking flavor. As for formula, heh, I'm still fighting that one. The strike continues!! As you know, I'm always on a mission to confuse my family. I have decided I will not drink my formula from a bottle or a sippy cup, however I will drink it from a spoon. They don't know what to do and I keep hearing them wonder - is it the new tooth that’s making him act like this? Is it the taste of the formula that he's not into anymore? What is it? As always, I will never tell.....I do love water though and can't get enough of it. Tomorrow I will give green beans a try to think up new ways to reek havoc.

Easter Schmeaster....

Can you believe the Easter Bunny forgot about me?!!!!
This is an outrage. Who do I have to speak to about this?!!!

Food and a Hunger Strike

I am little tardy with the post....but I started solids a week ago. Rice Cereal is the first on my menu. Huh. So this is what its like.... I certainly hope it gets better. So far, from what I can tell from what Cooper is telling me, it goes up and down - some solids are good, some are bad. The picture of him with his veggies doesn't look too pleasing. My mom says she plans to feed me those next. Great.
My first week wasn't so bad. I ate my cereal like a good boy should. This week..the rebel has come out. I am on a hunger strike. I have refused the cereal, I have refused the bottle. Not sure what i'll do next. Stay tuned. Oh yes...and the sleep strike still continues - to some degree.

I have become violent. Rawr! Last night I punched, pinched, and kicked mommy, then I pulled her hair. She still loves me though apparently, because she sang to me and rocked me and kept her cool. Good mommy. I was just testing her anyways.

Here's me looking cute with my cereal.

Down with the sickness!

and....... a very Happy Birthday to my Mommy. Yesterday was her birthday and as with most years, she got sick. Maybe its a curse?? I decided to follow along and got sick with her. Don't want poor Mommy suffering alone. Although I have an inkling that me getting sick made it a little more difficult for her - especially since I can be quite dramatic. Our evening was spent laid up in bed, dosed up with Tylenol, inhaling Vicks vapors and feeling like poo. Hopefully my very first birthday won't be such a downer. I plan to have a cake demolition party.

Seems like the sickness is going around - everyone I know is getting sick! What is this mystery sickness?! It must be stopped!!! DOWN with the SICKNESS!!!

Here is a photo of me and Mommy's balloon. Happy Birthday Mom...while I barf on you.
