Notes from Mommy: Random Khai Things

Jan 23 -
Khai's big thing now is saying Oh Thanks Momma, Thanks!
He's a really polite little boy, despite his tantrums.
He always says Please and Thank you. Thank You seems to be his favorite.
Followed by Help me Momma, HELP! in the most exaggerated way.

Khai will fart and then announce that he's farted - Momma I part. He can't seem to get the "f" down.. He will also lift his little butt up when he does it. I can't help but laugh..which of course encourages him. He's fairly proud of his farts.
He also likes to announce that Momma's poo poo's are stinky. I take relief in knowing its not just MY son that does that.. as Cooper too announces facts about his mommy's poo poo's. Not that ladies poo.
Burping is also announced.

Jan 25th -
Spent the day with Khai..went shopping, hung out.. everytime Khai saw something he liked in the store he said WOW! That’s so cool!
Wow! That’s beauuuutiful! Its my favorite thing in the whole world!!

Jan. 26 -
Khai just looked at me, hissed and started licking the air like a cat and said Meoooow.
Khai also likes to lick my arm and face as if he's a cat... he's so weird.

Tonight I asked Khai if he wanted some milk (he normally has a bottle before bed).
He said Not Yet Momma. Not yet. And put his little hand out to stop me.

The Pacifier

Not once in my entire infant career did I use a pacifier. Wait, let me take that back - I used it at the hospital when I was born...but spit it out shortly after the 2nd day. Then on the random occasion, Mommy would give me one with hopes of soothing me during one of my outrages, but again with the spit spit. Today at the age of two, I have found one of my many unused paci's and decided to see what the hooplah is all about. I used it for some of the afternoon, taking the time to really see what benefit it provides. Soothing? I wouldn't really say so. It was just a piece of rubber in my mouth taking up space. Tasty? Not so much. I decided after a few hours that the pacifier is NOT for me - I shoulda have just trusted my infant instincts back in the day.

I Wanna ROCK!

One day I will form my own band and rule the rock world. Currently I play the guitar, the drums, the keyboard, the piano, and I sing. My buddies Cooper and Zach are musicians as well and I strongly believe that if our Mommies would just move us to live closer, we could make this dream happen. Autographs are being given now by request only - they will be worth something one day.

Haircut Time

Its that time again for one of Mommy's haircuts. As I am in dire need (my hair keeps getting in my eyes!) I decided to cooperate.

BEFORE:

AFTER:

Lets not let the potty go to waste.. since I still am not actually using it as a potty, Mommy decided to use it for my cut hair.

My dearest Ming Ming will agree that I look rather handsome with my new haircut.

Choo Choo!!

Its as if the gift Gods hear my prayers... tonight I received this awesome gift from my Godfather, Tony. What makes it awesome you ask? Well to begin with the box contained not one, but TWO items. A car and best of all, a train. But, not just any train.. a Choo Choo Soul train!! Well, it looks like Choo Choo Soul at least. From here on, thats what i'm going to call it. I have yet to decide on a name for the car. As you can see from the photo I am pretty territorial about this prize package and anyone who dares to touch it will suffer the consequences. Now, the next great thing about this toy is that it comes with tools - my favorite being the electric screwdriver. Tools are fun and I can use them to take both the car and train apart and put them back together again. Thank you Tony for my great gift, I will learn how to use the tools with skill and make you proud!!
