Sick Sick Sick

This weekend I was sick. Mommy came home from work on Thursday and I was running a fever. At that point though, I was feeling fine....still playing with my toys and up to my devilish tricks. Bedtime rolled around and I drank my bottle of milk and fell fast asleep. Around 2am I woke up hungry and asked Mommy for more milk. 5 minutes later I projectile vomitted all over the bed, myself, and Mommy. I got stinky curdled milk in my hair and Mommy had to wash it out. I was a very good patient though and let her take care of me while I rested my head on her shoulder. Afterwards, Mommy moved us to the living room because the bed was soaked. Ba Ngoai came to help pull all the sheets and blankets off. As soon as I sat down on the living room floor, I threw up again. Mommy got us new sheets and blankets and I got a popsicle. It was pretty yummy. Cartoons and popsicles at 3am isn't so bad. The next day I was still feeling yucky but had no problem playing with all my toys. I gave Mommy a very hard time though at naptime and bedtime. Mommy let me nap in her arms which is the best place to be when you are sick! By the third day I was feeling much better and able to eat regular food and drink milk again.

Mommy Cut My Hair

And did a pretty good job this time!!
My hair was getting rather long in the back and I was starting to have issues with Mommy trying to braid it, giving me pony tails and all sorts of other girly hair things!! I decided it was in my best interest to cooperate with her when she snipped some length off. I was a pretty good boy about it!! I did give her a little bit of a tough time (had to) but otherwise, I played with my toys while she snipped over an inch off the back, then cut some layers on the top. She said she was leaving the front though, which is fine with me because I do like the way it looks.

Chuck E Cheeses

Mommy and Daddy took me to Chuck E Cheeses for the very first time today. Never been to a place quite like this. When we first got there, Mommy said we had to eat lunch. I was less than impressed with the pizza .. and the fries were reasonable - with ketchup (my precious ketchup always there to save the day). After lunch, we checked out all the games and rides. There's an area for smaller kids like me with a slide and some rides and I had alot of fun going down the slide over and over.
Eventually I made it out to the big kids area and had I known you can get prizes for all the games you play, I would have been out there much sooner!! I ended up winning a ton of tickets which I got to cash in later for prizes. I got over 200 tickets!!
I beat Daddy in most of the games we played. My favorite was the water gun one. Once I discovered it, I wasn't interested in anything else.

Christmas in August

Happy Happy Day to Me! Mommy brought home a new trike for me today as well as a motorcycle rocker! Good thing too, cause since I got my Ninja the other day, I still haven't grown enough to reach the pedals and with this new one - well its just my size. The rocker is pretty fantastic as well. It makes all kinds of siren sounds and lights up and it'll make the perfect lounger/rocker for when I watch my shows on TV.

A 22 Month Shout Out To My Homies

On this day of my 22nd month, I just wanted to stop for a moment and wish my boys Zach and Cooper a happy 22 months. These boys have been with me from the very start. I can't believe we are creeping up 2 years soon! Our Mommies probably can't believe it even more than us. There is still so much to do and see and explore and I can't wait! One love brothers....one love...

Little Einsteins

My number one favorite show right now (shhhh, don't tell Dora or Diego) is Little Einsteins, which is another show on the Playhouse Disney channel. I used to not really like it at all .. but recently I've found it to be rather enjoyable and I especially like to sing the theme song (I obviously have a thing for theme songs). This video here is the loudest i've ever sang it! I think I do a pretty darn good job, if I do say so myself. Just like with Choo Choo Soul, I made Mommy go onto You Tube and find me the video - oh man, we really hit the jackpot when we found one where someone looped the theme song 5 times in a row!!! Talk about some serious luck!! More in the way of luck, they have the show on the freezone channel on TV, so I can order it anytime - day or night!! And every morning, it comes on at 8am...which is when Mommy leaves for work - so it kinda keeps me busy and she leaves without me fussing...for now. heh.

Choo Choo Soul

I love trains and I now also, I love to sing... and have recently found the perfect combination! Choo Choo Soul is a cool show on the Playhouse Disney channel that has 1) a cute girl named Genevieve, who sings all about my favorite 2) trains! I really don't care much about the actual show, but I loooove singing the intro and I love trying to dance along with her and the other kids on the show. I made Mommy find it on You Tube for me so I could watch it over and over and over again. Lucky for me, it comes on in the morning - but a little earlier than I normally wake up - so now make Mommy get up an extra half hour earlier just so we can watch it. ha ha.

Water Fountain Fun

Today I went to Fairfax Corner and played in the water fountain! It was so much fun, I could hardly contain myself. I have never seen anything like it in my life... so when I first got there I was a little apprehensive - but it didn't take me very long to get into it. I LOVED it!! I pitched a fit when Mommy said it was time to go - she can be a real party pooper sometimes. The fountain has 48 dancing water jets and shooters and I heard that at night, it lights up!! I have to come back in the evening to check it out! I definitely plan on coming back to play in the water more before the summer is over. Maybe next weekend, if the pooper will let me!
