My 6 Month Stats

Just went in for my 6 month checkup today. The day started out bad. I fussed and cried and gave my mom a hard time all the way up to the appointment time at 1:50pm. Then I decided to smile. I was laughing and playing around - had no clue shots were in store for me. Those wicked people pricked me twice and gave me and and oral dose of some nasty stuff. They tried to tell me it was sweet. Pfft. I spit as much out as I could. The doctor told me I was one of her best patients and that I was growing perfectly. And get this... I got a sticker this time!!! And while that statement may seem one of excitement - and to some degree it is, since I have been gypped out of one each and every time - I really am not that excited because the sticker was a lame one. Something about turning off the tv. I wasn't interested and so I didn't even pay attention to it when the nurse gave it to me....then again, I was a little too busy staring at her funny glasses. Oh, and I started eating oats today too. Pretty good stuff. I think I like it better than the rice cereal. This picture is of me when we got home...it was an exhausting day.

Do you know that we're now in the clear for needles until we're 1 year old?!! Great news, huh??
Sorry to hear about the lame sticker. I didn't get one at all. What's with these evil nurses? You should have used your new teeth to bite the needle lady with. I think I might do that at my next appointment.

I should have. But I was so darn mad - so I just clenched my mouth shut. I contemplated peeing on her, but mommy had already pulled my diaper back on. I did kick her though.

I thought you have one more shot at 9 months?

I spied a tray of stickers in the needle lady's office when I went in for my 6-month shots. So, when I come back at a year, I'll snag a bunch of them for us.
