National Zoo

Today I went to the DC National Zoo with Mommy, Daddy, and Carter. It was a perfect day for the zoo because it wasn't hot like when we went to the Reston Zoo. We started the day by going to IHOP for breakfast. By the time we got to the zoo around 10am, it was packed!! We got very lucky and got front row parking though. I got to see lots of animals for the very first time in my life! Lions, tigers, bears, hippos, beavers, seals, apes, gorillas, starfish, huge huge huge turtles that were like bigger than a house!!, komodo dragons, groundhogs... but passed out before we got to the elephants, and the pandas were MIA. I also got to see some bears and monkeys, and a number of other animals .. I can't even remember~ Oh and guess what, there was this one tiger that was pooping and Daddy took a picture of it. It was really very funny. And all the other kids there were saying Kitty Poo Poo, right along with me. I tried to meow at him but I guess he was too busy to hear. It was a pretty long day for me and I got pretty cranky after I woke up from my nap.

I was hungry! We went to Red Robin for dinner - Mommy and Daddy tried to appease me with french fries - but they took foreeeever to get to the table, so I cried and yelled and finally, FINALLY, my french fries came and I was a happy boy again. heh heh.

That looks like a really cool zoo! You got to see tons of awesome animals. I've never seen a Komodo Dragon, that sounds really cool! Our zoo is pretty small with nothing overly exciting. What did you eat at IHOP? And french fries for dinner? MMmmm... can't beat that.
