Today we went for Zacks 3rd birthday party (Khai's best buddy from school). This was Khai's first Chuck E Cheese birthday party (mine too) - and his 2nd peer birthday party ever. Major bonus of having a party there - they do all the work - setup, cleanup, food, drinks, party favors...everything! I can't say there was much of a negative except for the chaos of the place. If anything, it was alot for Khai to handle. He clams up in these types of situations and it reminds me of myself so very much when I was younger. I looked over at him at the party table and saw a frightened little boy shell up (I remember these very scenarios) and I waved at him to let him know I was there and he was fine- I could tell he wanted to wave back but was too petrified. I asked him if he was OK, he stared at me blankly.. too afraid to move almost. Feeling so bad for him, I finally went and brought him to the booth we were at and the nervousness melted off of him - Mr. Chatterbox was back, devouring cake by the mouthful.
Three different birthday parties were going on simultaneously and Chuck E Cheese himself came out, did a song and dance, visited with the birthday boys and girls, and everyone sang happy birthday. After singing, food and cake, the kids scattered with their bronze game tokens. Most of the other kids had no fear - running up into the tubes they have that hang on the ceiling, climbing onto the rides. Khai preferred to stay planted on the ground playing driving games. John, parked himself at the token machine..gambling away.
As we left, Khai told us how much fun he had, although I'm thinking it'll be a while before we go back. One can only handle that amount of chaos every so often. Click Here for PICS of the PARTY

We have never been to Chuck E Cheese, and I'm not one for chaos, so I can only imagine lol. Cooper would be tearing up the place giving me a heart attack no doubt. I love the pic of Khai and Zack and Zack's cousin... so cute. Going to check out the rest!!
